currently working on adding more functionality to OCRbot. if all goes well, it should soon support languages other than english.

the way i'm planning on doing this is checking for a given identifier after tagging OCRbot, for example, "@OCRbot arabic" or "@OCRbot jpn"

does this seem like a good idea?

one problem is that the error messages will be in english, and so will the instructions on how to use OCRbot. unfortunately i don't speak any other languages... i could rely on google translate i suppose, but that really seems like a bad idea.

OCRbot should now support multiple languages. simply say @OCRbot jpn and it will parse the image as japanese. support for other languages can easily be added.

@LynnearSoftware you could always crowdsource the translations/localizations, I could help with Spanish Portuguese and Korean to some extent, and I’m sure there’s people on knzk for example who could help for Japanese
