Can I make an elephant in a microwave?
Well, no — you can't, but not without some seriously clever microwave
engineering. Here's how:
Step 1: Place a big square of bread in a single layer on the bottom of
the microwave and let it sit in place for at least 15-30 minutes.
Step 2: While the bread is in the microwave, peel off the plastic top of
the bag with a pair of kitchen shears. The top of the bag will come off.
Step 3: Cut a square off one end of the beef.
Step 4: Place the beef pieces on top of the bread, with the plastic top
still in place, and let the microwave cook while you peel and discard
Step 5: When the bread has softened enough to handle and the beef
has browned, gently pull the plastic out with scissors and cut with
scissors again, this time using a pair of kitchen shears to minimize
Step 6: Place the meat pieces onto a plate to cool until they are just
warm enough to eat.
